And being a perfectionist didn't help. Well maybe it did. :) Since then I've read more from other writers and understand that I'm not alone. Writing is one of those things that LOOKS easy, until you dive in and try to do it. And you're right in that it takes many drafts to develop your voice. I've had this nagging voice in the back of my head that I need polishing, that my writing needs polishing, that I need a class of some sort.
