JOSH-GREENE MINI-GRANTS
http://josh-greene.com/serviceworks/
The amount of each month’s grant is determined by how much money I make in a specified night of work at the restaurant. On average I walk home with $200. Please keep in mind, sometimes it’s less, sometimes it’s more. The application process is quite simple. You write a paragraph or two explaining your proposed project. An itemized budget is also required. I do not provide funds for the completion of projects that are already in progress. I am interested in creating a direct relationship between my work in the restaurant and an artist’s work so it is important that the project you propose is based upon my average nightly income of $200. It is also vital that your project can be started and completed within about three weeks. Projects with budgets over $300 will not be considered.
NOTE: Now...this is something. Would you be willing to work this hard to give grants to others? Amazing gentleman.
DOUBLE NOTE: It's countdown week to all the talks I have to give. National Association of Baby Boomer Women on Tuesday (teleconference), my nephew's third grade class (where I have to teach them how to write a story) then Myrtle Beach (where I teach author branding and FundsforWriters). The new Shy Writer books aren't in yet, but I knew they would be last minute, so I'm not distraught yet. So this will be a week I do not sleep well, mulling over what to say. Why do I set myself up like this????? I always say never again.
