NOTE: This silly contest might be fun. I can always use Amazon gift certificates as many books as I buy through them.
DOUBLE NOTE: Spent yesterday in Beaufort, SC up and down the coast, in and out of islands and hidden inlets, researching how my bad guys are getting away with murder - literally. Had a ball. Nice to have a friend who know the lay of the land. That's what's cool about research...makes you anxious to get started. Can't wait!

I know there's a legitimate writing contest here: http://romancenovel.gather.com/ The winner receives a contract with Pocket Books.
Any others legit ones?
